Day 13 Somewhere I’d like to visit or live

17 Feb

dream homeI would love to have a log cabin somewhere with at least an acre of land. Somewhere near enough to a city to drive there within 30 minutes, but far away enough so that it’s quiet and there’s no traffic where I live. For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to live in a log cabin. I love them. I’m not particular about where exactly, but I’m thinking somewhere near a river or a lake, or I could always have my dad build me a small pond on my property. I like being near the water. Growing up near the ocean spoiled me I guess. I miss being near the water. It doesn’t have to be the ocean, it can be a river or a lake, or even a small pond.

I’m from SC, and there are some beautiful places here. I think I’d like to find a spot that I absolutely love and build my dream home there. Close enough to my family and Mr. Rockstar’s family so that we drive there within an hour, two at the most. I’m not particular about where exactly, just so long as it’s a pretty spot and close to our family’s. And I’d like enough room so that our children could come visit us and be comfortable, and so that I had my own room for creative stuff like writing, scrapbooking, etc.

Me too! And as soon as I win the Lottery, or finish writing my book so it can be published and end up on the best seller’s list, I will get myself that :D

I love that log cabin as well. I have the land; just not the money to build on the land…in MS.

I have a piece of land next to where my parents live, and maybe one day I’ll have the money to build it. :D
