Sent out first small pile of invitations (my test to see how they go out in the mail, and if they look okay, etc.). Sent to: my mom, my daughter, 3 of his sister’s, his mom, etc. So far so good.
I tried to make my veil–big fail. Will try again soon. I don’t give up that easily…
Found the flowers, got the cost, reserved, now I just need to earn enough money to pay for them (I am so excited about them!!!) They are 25 red roses, 25 white roses, and 25 blush white with red tips roses), and the one yellow rose for the middle (the remembrance flower). This weekend I’ll be getting postage for the rest of the invitations so I can mail them out. Next weekend I’m hoping to have time with my family (it’s my birthday weekend).
My grandbaby is due on the 15th of this month, he’s taking his sweet time coming.
My to-do list is growing, yet at the same time getting shorter. Let’s see, what do I need to do? (I don’t have my list with me so this is coming off the top of my head…LOL)
-Spray paint jars I’ve saved for centerpieces.
-Get stamps for the rest of the invitations.
-Print out and put together the rest of the invitations.
-Get a few more addresses for the invitations.
-Make my veil.
-Get David his vest and tie (and socks).
-Dye lingerie grey (I can’t find any I like in grey/silver so I’m dying some).
-Pay for flowers.
-Get wedding party their gifts.
-Get parents’ gifts.
-Have dinner with officiant so we can go over ceremony.
-Get memory card for photographer and go over what kind of pics we want.
-Get with other photographer to get bridal portrait done once dress if finished with alterations.
-Get David a gift.
-Finish cleaning my parents yard, plant some flowers, get some hanging flowers for porch, etc
-Get tiki torches and solar lights and ribbon for trees.
-Figure out how to decorate tents.
And I am sure there is lots more I can’t think of. Whew!!! that’s alot!
