Smash booking or journaling

10 Oct

Recently I began scrapbooking. I’m a beginner, so I’m still trying to find my style, and I’m short on supplies, but I’m finding what I like. I’m also learning by trial and error. I know I want a paper cutter, colored pens, a watercolor set of paints, more embellishments, a bigger variety of cardstock, more patterned paper, and a more organized place to actually scrapbook. I also need to acquire a supply of 12×12 protective sheets and a few 8×11 albums.  I’ve been doing research on scrapbooking but have yet to buy a physical scrapbook magazine, but I’ve been looking at numerous online ones. I’ve also recently been “smash booking.” It’s like a scrapbook journal. I love the books. I love the paper in the books and they way they are set up, but there aren’t nearly enough pages for an actual journal, and I don’t see a way to add pages so when I’m finished with this one I’ll search for a sketchbook that is big enough for me to use, that has paper sturdy enough to paint on, glue on, etc and I’ll make my own. But for now, this is my Smash Book…
