What band or musician is more important to you? Wow, this one is simple. My husband, whom I refer to as Mr. Rockstar, or David, is a musician. He’s the lead singer in a band, and he plays guitar. And I’d have to say that he is the most important musician to me. In this picture he’s not with his band, it’s his friend Daniel’s band. They asked him to sing a song with them.
But if I had to choose a band or musician aside from Mr. Rockstar, I’d have to say Johnny Cash as a musician, Led Zeppelin as a band, and Prince as a musician. (I know, I know, my taste in music is varied, but I grew up on all types of music, not just one kind, so my tastes are eclectic.)
My very favorite songs are: Stairway to Heaven by Zeppelin, Knocking on Heaven’s Door by Bob Dylan, Walk the Line by Johnny Cash, I’ll Be by Edwin McCain. I also love Simple Man by Lynrd Skynrd (which my husband sings like no one’s business).
Sinead O’ Conner’s “Nothing Compares to You” was written by Prince, as well as Stevie Nick’s “Stand Back” and Alicia Key’s song “How come you don’t call me anymore” and many more like the Bangle’s hit “Manic Monday.”
