After Mr. Rockstar got off work we had a cup of coffee together, talked about our day, and then went to the grocery store (I was going to go earlier in the day by myself but I was in too much pain after having moved the microwave off the counter and putting it near the back door so it can be taken to the recycling center). We bought a few items from the Pig (shortened name for Piggly Wiggly, which is a southern chain I believe because I’ve never seen one anywhere other than in SC).
We came home and cooked dinner: steak with onion and mushrooms, pasta with potatoes and onions inside, sauteed squash, zucchini and onions, garlic bread, and sweet tea. After dinner we watched maybe an hour of television and then Mr. Rockstar says he needs to go to bed early because he needs to get up at 5am. So I’m in bed with him, only I’m writing and he’s sleeping, and I should definitely be sleeping as well since I have to get up and take him to work, but I’m waiting on the medication to kick in to relieve the pain so I can go to sleep. Till then, I’m writing.
As he quietly snores, and yes he actually snores lightly (though I snore rather loudly), I am comforted by the fact that he’s next to me as I write.
Earlier today I did some more research on becoming a professional photographer and was quite impressed with some of what I found. So, as directed by a number of websites, I am in the process of trying to think of the name of what my photography company will be called. I supposed I could go with the simple “use your own name” thing, or find some play on words, something creative, to use. but for now I’m coming up with all of them. There is already quite a few out there that have photography companies/studios with various versions of my name. I’d have to use my whole name or a version of my name, maybe my maiden name and my married name…Because using my first name and just my maiden name or just my married name will not work…Evidently my name is not all the unique.
I am supposed to start calling myself a photographer and start taking pictures of every thing, and anything. Critique my photos and work on making them better. I’m supposed to get as many books and magazines as possible, which means a trip to the library, so that I can learn as much as possible. Hopefully, I will start photography school in March. (I can’t wait!) So as soon as I can figure out what I’m going to call my eventual photography studio I will be starting a FB page, and maybe a new blog, as well as a webpage eventually for the photography business. I sure hope I come up with a name soon. Mr. Rockstar suggested New Horizon Photography, but I’m pretty sure someone already has that one.
