March 20th will be my one year blog anniversary

I was thinking about when I first began this blog and realized it had been about a year ago so I looked it up, and sure enough my first post was March 20, 2012. WOW! It’s been almost a year. So much has happened during the past year. My first post was about planning my wedding. That was 234/5 posts ago. This will be my 235th post.

I planned my wedding myself and had a blast doing so, even if it was hectic and stressful at times. One of my top posts for views was in May, but one of the posts I like the most was titled “What the wedding is really about.” 

And another of my fav’s has pictures of the sheet music roses and bouquets that I made for our wedding. There’s nothing like DIY stuff. I was so proud of myself when they turned out better than I had expected.

And one of my reader’s fav’s was “One week to go…OH SHIT!” 

But if I had to some it all up with one it would be “Less than 2 days…” or  “We did it!!! Our wedding part 1” or “Our Wedding part 2″.

Then I began scrapbooking and have several posts about that (and yes, I’m still scrapbooking and smashbooking).

And I even wrote a post about the dream car that Mr. Rockstar got me: Coming into your own. 

And as someone suggested, I created a page called MiMi’s Page that is dedicated to my grandson, to me being a grandmother. I became a proud grandmother, “MiMi,” on July 15, 2012.

One of Mr. Rockstar’s fav’s is this one: “I’m writing, he’s sleeping, …”

And my first Writing Challenge was “Starting Over.”

WOW! It’s been quite a journey and I feel like I’ve really just started. It doesn’t feel like it’s been almost a year, but it has. So I’m looking forward to many more writing challenges, as well as another year of blogging 😀
