Good Morning to all! I ended Day 17 with 30,000 words. Yay! for me. Big pat on the back! So I tried to a new coffee this morning. The coffee was a gift, part of Camp NaNoWriMo and their swap a care package with someone. I’m sending the care package I made this Saturday. Mine was filled with goodies like a Mickey Mouse coffee mug, Dunkin Donuts Berries coffee, a packet of Starbuck’s instant coffee (it’s like a to-go type deal), a pack of colored index cards, and the cutest card. What’s in the package I’m sending? Well, I won’t tell until after I’ve sent it just in case she reads my blog–I don’t want to spoil the surprise. Back to the coffee. So I’m drinking Dunkin Donuts Triple Berry coffee and I’m not quite sure about it. Don’t get me wrong, I love coffee, almost all types of coffee (except black coffee–I have to have creamer and sugar/sweetener in my coffee), but this is more of a dessert coffee. However, my whole house now smells like a combination of berries and coffee–Wonderful smell! So I’m on my third cup and I’m contemplating whether or not I love it or just like it. Hmmm…
Now on to day 17 of 30 days of writing a novel…Camp NaNoWriMo. I decided to take a walk around my yard this morning for some fresh air, as well as a chance to listen to the birds chirping (and it was so nice until the dog next door decided he was going to bark at me for being in my own yard…I swear that dog needs obedience training.) I am trying to figure out whether someone has betrayed my main character or not, and if so how far has the betrayal gone, and did he intend to or was it a case of good intentions gone bad… Hmmm, more contemplation.
So these show how WHITE my grey hair actually is…as well as the difference between the straight hair and my naturally curly hair. Which is a whole other topic of discussion. One day I’ll write a post about it. (And yes, for those of you who pay attention to detail, I did cut my hair–5 inches of it gone–it gets hot and humid here in the South in the summer).
So I’m back from my excursion outside, and after looking through my pics as of late I’ve realized it is past time to dye my hair, my grey is showing again…GRRRR! But I don’t really have time right now, I’m busy writing my novel. I don’t feel like I have time for things that aren’t a priority. Is dying my hair a priority? It will be once it’s closer to the end of April when we go to my family’s annual Easter time dinner (I know it’s past Easter but my cousin is coming from Canada so we put it off until the end of the month so we can all see her)…we’ll be taking a lot of pictures and I’ll want those pictures to be awesome…Right now I’m not that worried about it.

I have one more cup of the berry coffee to drink and then I’m off to make a fresh pot of non-berry coffee and get back to writing Chapter 12. And it’s time for some music. First song on my playlist is:
Have a great day, y’all!
